A nineteenth century building behind the Royal Palace and Frogner Park in central Oslo, the Norlandia Saga Hotel is one kilometer from the National Theater and Henrik Ibsen Museum. The 37 guestrooms are decorated in warm tones with light wood furnishings; all come equipped with cable television, minibars, direct dial telephones and hair dryers.
Guests can enjoy drinks and cocktails in the relaxed bar. The lounge features a fireplace by which guests can browse the complimentary daily newspapers. Oslo's location between the fjord and the forested hills allows guests to puruse a number of activities including fishing, kayaking, skiing, ice skating and fjord tours, as well as mountain biking and horse riding. The hotel is within walking distance of many of the Norwegian capital's principal attractions. The Royal Palace is just one block away, while Vigeland Park with its 200 or so sculptures is one kilometer from the hotel. The port of Pipervika lies at the innermost point of Oslo's fjord, 1.5 kilometers away, and is home to a shopping and recreation complex, and the Museum of Norwegian Folklore, 2.5 kilometers away, consists of 140 buildings tracing Norway's cultural history from the Middle Ages. Oslo Gardermoen airport is 40 kilometers from the hotel.

Busses and express trains run between the airport and the city center, where guests can take a tram to the hotel. Taxis are also readily available at the terminal.
Driving directions: From the airport turn right on to the F462, then right on to the F454. Turn right again on to the 174 and take the first exit E6 at the roundabout. Follow the E6 towards Oslo, then join the E18. Follow signs for Oslo city center from here.
