Location.The Martim Seehotel Timmendorfer Strand is situated directly on the Baltic Sea. It is a modern resort hotel located six kilometres from the Hansapark theme park. Hamburg Fuhlsb�ttel Airport (HAM) is 80 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features.Facilities at this family friendly hotel include an outdoor pool with views of the Baltic Sea, and the hotel boasts a wellness centre with a fitness room, an indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room, a spa tub, and beauty treatments. Children can be kept amused at the kids' club with supervised activities and entertainment, and there are shows in the evenings. Practical amenities include wireless Internet access (surcharge), room service and on site parking for 15 EUR per day. All prices are subject to change.
The hotel offers three dining options in the form of a casual buffet style restaurant, a smart Michelin Star restaurant serving gourmet German and international cuisine, and a relaxed bar offering snacks. There is also a poolside bar.

Expert Tip. Hansapark, six kilometres from the hotel, offers a fun day out for the family in Lubeck. One rollercoaster has a 70 metre horizontal loop above the ground at 70 kilometres per hour, and there are over 35 rides at the park, as well as animal shows and a variety theatre.

Getting there. The yellow Jasper Airport Express runs to Hamburg central station (Hauptbanhof) non stop in 30 minutes every 20 minutes from Terminals One and Four. A single ticket costs 5 EUR. From here guests can connect to a train to Timmendorfer Strand, which is two kilometres from the hotel. A taxi from Hamburg Airport should cost approximately 120 EUR. All prices subject to change. The seaside resort of Timmendorfer Strand is easily explored on foot. Regular buses and trains serve the area and provide links to Hamburg. A hire car would be useful for exploring further afield.
